Research funded by a Sasakawa Foundation scholarship
Selected by Dexter Dalwood for the Creekside Open Exhibition 2011
The photograph is part of a series of portraits taken in the rush hour at Shibuya where commuters travel after work over a pedestrian crossover bridge to reach the station.
This series in transit (Tokyo) is part of a larger photographic project in spring 2010 ‘reading urban landscape’ funded by a Sasakawa Foundation scholarship and ongoing work of tracing dynamics of urban environments in photographs.
